ELIGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United
States, the District of Columbia, eighteen (18) years of age or
older on the day before the Sweepstakes begins, or if the age of
majority is greater than eighteen (18) years in the jurisdiction
where participant lives, participant must be at least the age of
majority on the date of entry. SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL
FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. By entering the
Sweepstakes, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions
of these Official Sweepstakes Rules . The following persons are
excluded from participation in this Sweepstakes: Employees and
immediate family members of CCP, “Bobby Likis Car Clinic” Sponsor(s)
and their subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, assigns,
advertising, promotional and fulfillment agents, attorneys,
accountants, and other representatives and the persons with whom
each of the above are domiciled.
HOW TO
ENTER: Visit
www.CarClinicNetwork.com during the Promotion Period and follow the
instructions to complete and submit the entry form.
Click on one or more of the
first six (6) questions and you’ll be taken to “cheat sheet”
for the answer. You must click on
at least one question to qualify for winning. To increase your
chance of winning, click on more of the first six (6) questions and
answer each correctly. Your name will be entered again for
each of the first six (6) questions you answer correctly. Answer
question seven (7) and your name will be entered again.
Additionally, if you answer the Royal
Purple, Block-It and Scott Shop Towel question, your name will be entered to win a leather/lambskin
jacket from Royal Purple, a car cover custom made with Block-It
fabric by Kimberly-Clark and a prize pack of Kimberly-Clark
Professional/DIY products.
All entries
become the property of the CCP and will not be acknowledged or
returned. Limit: One entry per person and per email address per week. All entrant information, including e-mail
addresses, is subject to the CCP’s Privacy Policy .
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 A.M. ET on Wednesday, July 28,
2010, and ends at 11:59:00 P.M. ET on
Wednesday, October 13. ("Sweepstakes
Period").
All On-line Entries must be received no later than 11:59:00 P.M. ET
on October 13, 2010.
CCP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE OR SUSPEND THE SWEEPSTAKES
WITHOUT NOTICE, AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY REASON. CCP ALSO RESERVES
THE RIGHT TO ALTER OR AMEND THESE RULES AT ANY TIME; PROVIDED,
HOWEVER, THE GRAND PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Each entrant in the Sweepstakes must be the rightful owner of, or
have authorized use of, the email account indicated by the entrant's
email address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of
the person submitting an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed to
be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is
registered. No mechanically reproduced entries or facsimiles will
be accepted. CCP is not responsible for technical, hardware or
software malfunctions, technical failures of any kind, lost or
unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate,
incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether
caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming
associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or for any
undelivered, deleted, lost, late, illegible, misdirected,
incomplete, mutilated or postage-due entries. CCP reserves the right
to disqualify any individual who is responsible for or who tampers
with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend
the Sweepstakes in the event the Sweepstakes website (www.CarClinicNetwork.com)
becomes infected by computer virus or is otherwise technically
impaired. Entries become the property of CCP and will not be
returned.
By participating in the Car Clinic Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to
automatically join the Car Clinic distribution list, initially
accepting emails sent from Car Clinic to the email address given on
the electronic Sweepstakes form. In accordance with the law, entrant
may then request to be removed from the Car Clinic distribution
list, which request will effect the removal of his or her email
address from the aforementioned list.
Each entrant agrees to be available to join Host Bobby
Likis live on “Bobby Likis Car Clinic” on Saturday, October 16, and on
Saturday, October 23, from
10a-12n ET, during which time the Sweepstakes winner(s) will be
announced. If entrant is not available during these times,
prize will be forfeited.
PRIZES: 1. Five Hundred
Dollar ($500) gas card, usable at authorized
stations where such cards are accepted. 2. A leather Royal
Purple jacket. 3. A car cover custom-made with Block-It fabric
by Kimberly-Clark. 4. A package of products chosen by
Kimberly-Clark Professional. NO CASH WILL BE AWARDED.
PRIZES MAY NOT BE EXCHANGED FOR CASH.
ODDS OF WINNING:
The odds of winning the gas card depend upon the number of eligible entries
received, how many of the first six
(6) questions you answer
correctly and whether or not you answer question seven (7). To increase your chance of
winning, click on more of the first six (6) questions and answer
each correctly. Your name will be entered again for each of
the first six (6) questions you answer correctly. Answer question
seven (7) and your name will be entered again. To increase your
chance of winning, enter every week (one email address per entrant
per week).
The odds of winning the Royal Purple jacket, the Block-It car cover
& the KC Professional/DIY prize pack depend on the number of
eligible entries received.
WINNER SELECTION:
Prize winner(s) will be determined on the basis of a random
drawing. The drawing will be conducted on or about October 14, 2010,
and announced during the Bobby Likis Car Clinic radio program on or
about Saturday, October 16, or Saturday, October 23. All winner selection procedures
shall be conducted by CCP whose decisions are final with respect to
all aspects of the Sweepstakes.
NOTIFICATION:
Winner will be notified via email or telephone. If
contact information is incorrect, winner will be automatically
disqualified. Winner must respond to said notification by 10a ET on
Thursday, October 14, or the prize will be
forfeited. The name of the final Prize winners may be obtained after
October 23, 2010, and before November 8, 2010, by sending a self-addressed
stamped envelope to Name of Sweepstakes Winner, 5675 N. Davis
Highway, Pensacola, FL 32503. Limit one prize per household, per
email address or per person per three hundred sixty five (365) day
period. Prizes are nontransferable. No prize substitutions allowed.
GENERAL:
By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by
these Official Sweepstakes Rules (IT'S A GAS), presented by Car Clinic
Productions, Inc.), including all eligibility requirements. By
entering this Sweepstakes, participant consents to CCP's use of
participant’s name and/or likeness for promotional purposes,
including online announcements, without additional compensation,
except where prohibited by law. By entering, entrants agree: (1) to
be bound by these official rules; (2) that the decisions of CCP are
final in all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes; and (3) to
release and hold harmless CCP, its subsidiaries, representatives,
CCP affiliates, directors, officers, employees and consultants from
any and all liability, injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising
from their participation or their acceptance and use of any prize.
Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes will be determined in
accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without reference
to Florida’s conflict of laws principles, and the entrants and
winners hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction by the State and
Federal Courts located in the County of Escambia and do hereby
specifically waive any personal jurisdiction defense that they may
have to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal Courts
located in the County of Escambia over all such persons and such
disputes relating to this Sweepstakes.
Any personal information that you provide in entering this contest
is done on a voluntary basis. This information may be used to
provide you with information on CCP, its program “Bobby Likis Car
Clinic,” program sponsors, this sweepstakes, and any special offers.
As part of this process, your information may be provided to program
sponsors who may communicate directly with you.
RELEASE:
Potential winners may be required to sign and return to CCP an
affidavit of eligibility and release of liability (the "Affidavit"),
and, if the Affidavit is not returned within fifteen (15) days of
notification, the potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited
the prize, and an alternate potential winner will be chosen. By
registering for the Sweepstakes or accepting a prize, participants
release CCP, its subsidiaries, representatives, CCP affiliates,
directors, officers, employees, advisors, attorneys and consultants
from any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever
and for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which
may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of
the prizes, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or
traveling to any prize-related activity. By registering for the
Sweepstakes, participants agree to the use of their name, city and
state of residence and/or photograph, videotape or any likeness for
advertising or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made
by or attributed to participant relating to CCP, and any and all
rights to said use, without further compensation.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
CCP is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information,
whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or
programming associated with the Sweepstakes or by any technical or
human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the
Sweepstakes. CCP assumes no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission,
communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized
access to, or alteration of, entries. CCP is not responsible for any
problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines,
computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment,
software, failure of email on account of technical problems or
traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination
thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other
person's computer related to or resulting from participating or
downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the
Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, hacking, or any other
causes beyond the control of CCP, which corrupt the administration,
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes,
CCP reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. CCP is not responsible for late,
lost, illegible, incomplete, stolen, misdirected or postage due
entries. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO
DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE
OPERATION OF SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS
AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CCP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK
DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW
(INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS FEES, COURT COSTS AND EXPENSES).
